Dr. Caldwell joins Central Carolina Sandhills Family Care from Hunt Club Medical Center in Apopka, FL providing urgent care for the general public. Previously, he worked at The Community After Hours Clinic at Florida Hospital, where he provided primary care for the under-served population. During this time, Dr. Caldwell also worked for Compass Research conducting Physical Exams and EKG interpretations for patients after administration of medications in clinical trials. He also worked for Veteran's Evaluation Services providing veteran medical disability evaluations for the Veteran Affairs. Dr. Caldwell is a graduate of the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine in Blacksburg, VA. Dr. Caldwell completed his Internship and Residency in Family Medicine at Florida Hospital East Orlando, Orlando FL. Dr. Cardwell received his Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from North Carolina State University in Raleigh, NC. He specializes in family medicine, general health, sports physicals, urgent care, obesity and osteopathic manipulative therapy.

Cheri Folk has over 20 years' experience caring for the patients of Lee County, starting as a LPN and working her way to becoming a Family Nurse Practitioner. Folk joins Central Carolina Sandhills Family Care from Sanford Nephrology and Hypertension Clinic working as a FNP-C here in Sanford, NC. Previously, she worked with Family Health Associates as the Nurse Manager, Practice Manager and PRN Float Nurse. Before that she worked at Sanford Health and Rehabilitation in Sanford as a Physician Coordinator, Staff Development Coordinator and Outcomes Director. Folk is a graduate of the University of North Carolina, in Chapel Hill, NC where she received her Master of Science in Nursing-FNP. She received her Associates Degree in Nursing at Central Carolina Community College, in Sanford, NC. She specializes in pediatrics, women's health, preventative medicine and hypertension. Gumpert is a native of Moncure, NC and attended school at Grace Christian School in Sanford. She currently lives in Lillington with her family. She is currently employed with Apollo MD as a hospitalist at Central Carolina Hospital. Previously, Gumpert worked at Angier Medical Services-Harnett Health in Angier, North Carolina; Hope Mills Family Care-Cape Fear Valley, in Hope Mills, North Carolina; and Carolina Heart Physicians in Raeford, North Carolina.
Gumpert graduated from the Physician Assistant Program with a Master of Medical Science from Methodist University in Fayetteville, North Carolina. She also earned a Bachelor of Science with a concentration in Microbiology/Cell Biology and a minor in Chemistry from Methodist University in Fayetteville, North Carolina.
